Not Just Cookies & Beer: Barley’s Angels Chicago to Host 6th Annual Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing Tasting

Girl Scout Cookie and beer pairing events are very popular these days, but Barley's Angels Chicago has been flipping that idea on its head since the beginning. It’s more than just pairing the classic cookies with craft beers, it’s a whole tasting menu of both sweet and savory bites designed by famous Chicago Chef Cleetus Friedman, and expertly paired with complimentary craft beer styles.

Our annual Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing event is one of our only co-ed events of the year and one of our largest and most popular. Chef Cleetus is returning to the Lakefront restaurant at Theater on the Lake with four courses of tasting plates using Girl Scout Cookies in unique ways -- past dishes have included Do Si Do Pad Thai, Samoa coated coconut shrimp, and Thin Mint crusted cheesecake, just to name a few -- and each course is paired with a beer 🍻.

A portion of the ticket price benefits a local Girl Scout troop and cookies will be available for sale at the event.
